We Are Fundraising To Save Two Discarded Horses - They Need Us Desperately
PLEASE help save these two sweet horses from shipping to slaughter.
The 22yr old mare was were bred as a sulky pulling racehorse. When she could no longer produce the "wins" the owners were hoping for she was dumped at an auction and purchased as an Amish cart horse.
When her new owner purchased a younger, stronger horse she was dumped at another auction pen and will now be shipped to slaughter unless she is "bailed" from the kill buyer.
The other horse is a sweet 18yr old gelding that is also going to ship unless we can step up and bring him to the rescue as well.
- We need to pick them up right away to prevent them from shipping. They will need a bail fee of $1535 for both, plus transport and veterinary care.
